Fencing in Star Wars
I think I have seen one form or another of fencing in all six of the Star Wars movies. I don’t know that much about the sport or the historical aspects of it, but I have a good feeling that the fencing that takes place in these movies would definitely be considered theatrical in nature. Obviously the levitation is not part of the modern sport, but all of the gymnastic moves would not take place within a competition either. Not only would they probably not be legal, for the most part, but they would also not be very effective. Oh well. They are fun to watch.
