We love to decorate their lockers.
I am a high school student. I am also a cheerleader. To show school spirit and appreciation for our football players, we decorate their lockers before each game. We use our school colors, and we make banners for each football player that have their name and number on them. Then we put the banner on the players’ lockers. Other students can write messages on the banners throughout the day that they are displayed. Most of the messages say things like good luck, beat ‘em, or win. It’s a great way for us to show team spirit and for other students to show their support as well.
