My mom was a single mother. She faced many challenges, but she managed to do a good job in raising me. She instilled values and morals that many two parent families do not. She worked hard to provide for me, and I did not want for anything. My mother made a lot of sacrifices for me. She put me through college by working two jobs. I’m sure it was challenging, but my mother never complained. She loved me, and I knew it. Although she told me every chance she had, I knew she loved me just by her actions.
