Town House Design Versus Apartment Design
There are a few very significant advantages one would benefit from if they choose to live in a town house rather than an apartment. Probably the most important benefit is the greater level of privacy while living in a town house. Instead of sharing hall space, or having to come through the same exterior door as everyone else in your building, a town house features a single entry for each residence. Furthermore, some town homes have attached garages. This is also another benefit in terms of privacy, and it’s also a security benefit as well. Another benefit would be the increased size of the unit in comparison to a standard apartment unit. More square footage allows for more avenues to use creativity when creating the town house design. With the ability to build multiple levels, the town house allows for the vertical separation of the living spaces (first level) and the sleeping spaces (second level).
These benefits of a good town house design definitely overshadow the limited amenities of the typical apartment
