Is Free online TV about to end ?
In the UK the BBC have had massive success with their Iplayer, basically this is a legal file sharing system that allows you to download BBC TV shows that were aired the week before. The programs all have DRM and so they expire after a week. This is the BBC’s version of Free online TV, but because it uses the download to one person’s computer to supoort the download to someone else’s the ISPs are complaining that the Iplayer is clogging the internet, and as a result all infrastructure needs to be upgraded.
