Durability and Beauty: Wrought Iron Gates
Wrought iron gates are manufactured in different ways depending on the manufacturer. Our wrought iron doors are completed through one piece of rolled steel frame. Most manufacturers will weld many pieces of steel together and use filler and putty to fill in the joints. Using one piece of steel and folding it into the preferred shape gives you the added strength necessary to maintain its’ durability. Placing it into the fire and bending and beating it into shape will form the piece of iron. Make sure the company you hire uses this same process or you may end up with a product cut from hollow materials.
