An Alternative to Safety Strips: Solar Lights
I live in a rural area and have found Solar Lights to be the best solutions to lighting my long driveway. Installing an electrical syatem that relies on grid power was too unreliable for my needs. The area I live in has frequent power outages. I do not have great night vision. My home has lots of wildlife in the area. I have installed solar lights at twenty five foot intervals alternating each side of my 600+ foot driveway, it is a safe way to guide me along this winding road. At the end of the drive, along with reflector posts, there are 4 more lights to ensure that I don’t go down into a run-off ditch. I appreciate the fact that the light is not too intrusive and does not add to the night-time light show that dissipates the starlight of a country night.
