What actually is DNA test?
There is a genetic code in the molecules of all living things. It was discovered in 1953 that we have some thing called as deoxyribonucleic acid which has some particular markers in it. In lab workers take out these marker from samples and carry out analysis. Lab workers find out markers present in fathers molecules to establish genetic link. If markers found in child molecules are same as that of father then genetic link is established and if markers do not match then potential father is ruled out as biological father. Initial checks are further confirmed by detailed analysis. This complete process in which genetic link is established is known as dna test.
