DNA sequences help us learn about how the body is formed, and what makes it different then other creatures. Washington University Genome Sequencing Center scientists are currently working on high end systems to help us learn more about these tiny, but intricate systems. Of course when you are analyzing data on such a massive scale as DNA sequences, you need an automated sequencer to handle it, as doing it by hand would be both time consuming and pointlessly slow. Thankfully the systems that they use at the University of Washington are such high grade that students and faculty alike can easily figure out all kinds of Sequences.
