Take Advantage of Yoga Meditation and Pranayama
Most people could tell you that yoga involves meditation even if they have never taken a class. However, many people probably do not realize that there are several different types of meditation that can be utilized. Some of these forms are specific to certain styles of yoga while some are uniform across all of the styles. Yoga meditation and pranayama (breathing exercises) enhance and strengthen yoga experiences. And although one may start by learning just the poses involved with yoga, it will not take long to see the benefits of going beyond the postitions and taking advantage of the meditation and breathing techniques as well.
