Panic attacks in children are often hard to diagnose.

When a child is experiencing symptoms of a disease, disorder, or condition, it is often hard for the child to put his or her feelings into words. That can be difficult for adults,s o it is especially difficult for children who are scared. Panic attacks in children are often hard to diagnose. The child may not know how to put the symptoms of the attack into words. Parents often think that the child is choking or suffering from an allergic reaction. It may take longer to diagnose a child with anxiety and panic attacks.
