No sharp objects on your new asphalt driveway!
Recently, my wife and I had an asphalt driveways Twin Cities company over to do a total replacement of our driveway. After installing our new driveway, they cautioned us to make sure that sharp objects are not allowed to stand on the surface of the driveway. I didn’t quite understand what they meant by “sharp objects” — and they explained that these could be a number of different things, such as a motorcycle stand, a bike kickstand, boat jacks, even the sharp cleats of athletic shoes. These sharp, pointy objects can actually pierce the surface of the soft, uncured asphalt. I’m glad we were warned.
