Protecting valuable equipment with an automobile alarm system
I often travel to work with equipment on my car roof rack. Although I take every precaution to lock it down with a chain, I am uncomfortable with leaving the equipment unattended. A determined thief could easily cut the lock and make off with my equipment. A friend suggested that I consider an automobile alarm system. My systems now come with vibration sensors that would be automatically triggered if someone tried to cut the lock and make off with my equipment. He explained that these systems are not overly expensive and by having one professionally installed it would provide additional peace of mind that my equipment is protected in the best way possible.
