Water is a proven alternative fuel source. I don’t know if it’s really possible to run your car only on water, although the Japanese have invented a prototype car that does it. For the average person, it is in fact possible to modify your car so it uses a combination of water and gas. In fact, if you run your car on water, then you can potentially cut your gas costs in half, which is a pretty good deal. Just remember that converting your car will take a reasonable amount of time and money.
