Car Transport Companies-Future or Dinosaur? My father in law worked for a car transport company. He loved traveling the US and finding all the different cars at the jobs assigned to him. He loved the truck driving and found it second nature. He wonders now, with the diesel prices are transport companies going to be America’s dinosaurs. Some of his experiences he shared was traveling to California, beautiful place, he’s seen snow in Denver, little problems on the road, except being so far from home and the kids. One time he was full and had a flat tire. He called the road service and found out one of the cars he was hauling belonged to a local basketball team manager and had to be delivered on time. He made arrangements with his son, to fly out, drive the car in himself and saved the day! Sounds like fun to me!
